Workshop Registrations

The ICN Workshops on Oil & Gas Operations and Maintenance will consist of a series of presentations and panel discussions to assist your business to access opportunities available in LNG Operations and Maintenance, and explore the key issues being faced by Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) looking to work in the LNG sector and the support available to address those hurdles. The workshops have a strong focus on lower tier suppliers and contractors.

The workshops are being supported by the Federal Government’s Supplier Access to Major Projects (SAMP) program and Chevron Australia. All workshops will involve ICN and the Innovation Centre of Western Australia.

The Perth (Henderson) workshop will be supported by Enterprise Connect, EFIC and BidWrite.

The Karratha & Districts Chamber of Commerce and the Onslow Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the events to be conducted in Karratha and Onslow respectively.

Chevron’s West Pilbara Business Support Program (WPBSP) Partners - Small Business Centre West Pilbara, Many Rivers and RSM Bird Cameron will be involved in the Pilbara workshops. The Department of Commerce and Federal Government agencies Enterprise Connect and EFIC will also support the Pilbara workshops.

In addition key Chevron operations contractors, UGL and Toxfree in Henderson (supported by existing subcontractor Alltype), and Svitzer and Toxfree in the Pilbara, will provide a brief introductions to their current and forthcoming work in the LNG and related sectors, with a focus on Operations and Maintenance, and participate in the final facilitated panel discussion.

A key part of Chevron’s current focus is on opportunities for suppliers and contractors beyond the current construction phases of Gorgon and Wheatstone. The workshops however aim to assist your business to access opportunities available broadly in LNG Operations and Maintenance, not just with Chevron operations.
